Everything You Need To Know

The tour includes hotel transfers (if selected), a private boat with a professional guide, snorkeling gear, and refreshing drinks. A delicious seafood lunch can also be added as an optional extra for those who want to enjoy a full experience.

This is a half-day tour, typically lasting around 3–4 hours, including boat travel, snorkeling, and time to enjoy the surroundings.

We start the boat tour from Muyuni Beach (near Matemwe).

Hotel transfer can be arranged from all over Zanzibar, though.

We recommend bringing swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a waterproof camera to capture the beautiful marine life. A hat and a light cover-up are also useful for sun protection when on the boat.

No, Mnemba Island is private, and access is restricted to guests staying at the luxury lodge. However, the tour takes you to the coral reef surrounding the island, where you can enjoy snorkeling in the clear waters.

The Mnemba Atoll is home to colorful tropical fish, sea turtles, and vibrant coral reefs, making it one of Zanzibar’s best snorkeling spots. Dolphins are often seen in the area, though sightings are not guaranteed.

Yes, we provide snorkeling masks, fins, and life jackets for your safety and comfort. If you have your own gear and prefer to use it, you’re welcome to bring it along.

Yes! The snorkeling area is calm and shallow, making it ideal for beginners. Our guide will assist anyone who needs help in the water to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Yes, non-swimmers are welcome to join. We provide extra flotation devices, such as life jackets and floaties, and our guide will ensure you feel comfortable and safe in the water. Please let us know in advance, though.

If the weather is unsafe, we will reschedule your tour for another day or offer a full refund. Short rains usually don’t affect the trip, and snorkeling is still possible in most conditions.
