Everything You Need To Know

The tour includes hotel transfers (if selected), a private boat with a professional guide, snorkeling gear, drinks, fresh tropical fruits, and a seafood lunch served on the sandbank.

This is a full-day tour, usually lasting around 5–6 hours. The schedule includes snorkeling at the coral reef, relaxing on the sandbank with a seafood lunch, and a visit to the mangrove coast before heading back.

We start the boat tour from Kizimkazi Mkunguni Beach.

Hotel transfers can be arranged from any area of Zanzibar.

We recommend bringing swimwear, a towel, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a waterproof camera to capture the experience. A hat and light cover-up are also useful for sun protection.

A visit to Pungume Island is possible, but most guests prefer to relax on the nearby sandbank, which offers stunning views and crystal-clear waters. Here, you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and a delicious seafood lunch.

The coral reefs near Pungume Island are home to a variety of colorful fish, sea turtles, and other marine life. The clear waters make it an excellent spot for snorkeling.

After the sandbank, the tour stops at a beautiful mangrove-lined coast where guests can enjoy the serene atmosphere and fresh tropical fruits. If lucky, you might even spot monkeys in the trees.
